I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of North Dakota. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead. My professional background includes experience working with adults in an inpatient psychiatric hospital, as well as with children and adolescents in a partial hospitalization program.

As a therapist, I strive to create a safe, accepting, and empowering environment where clients feel supported in their growth and healing. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and take a holistic approach to counseling, considering all aspects of an individual’s life, including emotional, behavioral, relational, and environmental factors. I believe each person has a unique story, and I aim to meet clients where they are in their journey. I work with clients ages 7 and older and primarily support individuals facing depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, emotional or behavioral concerns, self-worth challenges, life transitions, and relational issues. My approach incorporates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also have specialized training in working with athletes, first responders, and individuals with ADHD.

I am currently a Licensed Master Social Worker (MSW) in ND and am working towards obtaining my Licensed Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW). I graduated from Arizona State University in 2024 with a master's in social work. Prior to graduation, I completed my final internship at Hart to Heart Counseling, where I developed my passion for working with individuals as young as 4 years old who struggle with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, and whatever other needs present themselves in the moment. I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.

I am trained in Theraplay, an attachment-focused approach that supports emotional regulation, connection, and secure relationships—particularly helpful for children and families—as well as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-informed modality that helps clients of all ages process and resolve distressing experiences. By integrating these approaches within a client-centered framework, I support children and adults in building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier patterns of connection. My goal is to create a compassionate environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

I was born and raised in North Dakota, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Social Work at the University of North Dakota, and later earned my master’s degree through Louisiana State University. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who have been underprivileged, marginalized, or historically underserved, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, children and families involved in care systems, survivors of trauma, individuals living in rural or resource-limited communities, and those impacted by social, economic, or systemic barriers. Drawing from my professional background, I work with children, teens, and young adults, while also providing meaningful support to adults at all stages of life. I take a humanistic, client-centered approach to therapy, believing that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. I also believe that accessing therapy should not add stress to your life, so I do my best to offer flexible scheduling whenever possible. I am committed to creating

an inclusive, affirming space where all clients—across identities, experiences, and stages of life—feel safe, respected, and valued for who they are.

I provide therapy services for children ages 3 and up, as well as adults, and tailor my approach to your unique needs and goals. I specialize in trauma-informed care having specialized training in Trauma Play and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
